If your complaint is Minds Dilation (a super fun card, IMO), don't blame the thing that let you cast it early, there are a thousand things that will let you do that, often easier than Selvala. She doesn t create undesireable board states. This isn t a case like with Prophet of Kruphix where everyone needed to have one, or clone one, or steal one. But she's really just a big mana producer with a symmetric draw engine attached. Selvala isn't breaking anything, she's just good. I'm just saying the RC's opinions are so inconsistent and sometimes off-the-wall absurd that I'm left scratching my head. I'm not saying any of those deserve the banhammer - far from it, I don't think any of them actually hurt the format, which today I think is in a pretty healthy place as-is. They allow even faster mana in the form of all the mana positive rocks that enable Storm. Though I have to say, Yeva is the one that speaks the most to me, yet I don't want to have another commander that is an immediate target (- my other two commanders are Krenko. Gaea's Cradle is similar to Selvala and 100x more powerful across a vast majority of decks. (Yeva, Nature's Herald, Nylea, Keen Eyed, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds will probably be in the 99. And while that's easy to do, this is like saying that Cabal COffers + Urborg should be on the watchlist, or that Growing Rites of Itlamoc should be on the watchlist. She does almost nothing on her own - she's dependent on you having an existing board state of big stuff.
